Hi, my name is Mark and I catch snakes. In fact I'm addicted to it and I love the challenge that relocating snakes presents, locating of the animal, capture of the animal and, of course, the challenge of not getting bitten by said animal.
I would do this for free if it wasn't for economics and the incessant demands of Mr Mortgage. Snake catching is a 24 hour job that requires me to be able to immediately drop what I'm doing and leave within five minutes. It's a strange life style if style is the correct word!
I've been doing this for fifteen years and I have gotten pretty good at it. Before that I was a computer programmer ( this web site is 100% my own work ), a builder ( which is very useful when the snake is in a sliding door ) and before that a DJ and a musician ( which is irrelevant but cool ). I first moved to the Sunshine Coast in the early 1980s and now live in Buderim with my beautiful wife and two dogs in a three story hovel with views of the pacific ocean.
